Really wanted something with a soft sky today and a relaxing mood. Canvas used was a 12"x16", not an oval this time. The sky was not that difficult yet very hard work to tap the blending in and some white every now and then. The boat was a very nice thing to do and I guess I had most joy out of the bushes today, where I normally dislike that.

Yes, I was surprised that the boat, so small in size, went very well. For the waves, I did a little trick with the palette knife to widen it a little, and then painted some shade underneath with a scriptliner.

Superb! I love everything in this one. Water is amazing! Especially I like the waves, how loose they are. This picture is so alive and gives the feeling of sea breath even from the phone screen!
