Gray Mountain

Voy Kay 21 Feb 2020

Canvas used was a quality double primed 12"x16". If anybody ever wondered, I always use Winsor & Newton paint, studio quality (so NOT the very professional ones that cost twice the price), which work out VERY well for me. Rarely I use a Bob Ross colour or Van Gogh, both brands have excellent paint as well. Tools used are partially Bob Ross brushes (2", liner and wavers") and all the rest is low budget material. If it works for me, I never upgrade the material, in order to cut costs.
This particular painting was chosen because I intend to paint the 24th season in full, like I did before with the entire 28th season.
Sky and water were very easy to do, most trouble I had with the mountains since for some reason, the thick white and black colours combined never did their trick on the mountains. VERY strange! The trees were done in haste, that is why I believe they show poorly. Same as the bushes were I used the wrong brush to begin with (wasn't focused today!!) but in all, this one will do and I can recommend it to everyone. Please have a look at the articles and till next one!
