These limited palette paintings are HARD! Was a good challenge, still need some practices on getting my values down, thought I did decent on the left side.

Thank you and yes please! My evergreens have come a long way, when I first started I had a tendency to widen them too early so they were always very squat. Now I’ve gotten them thinner and sharper but they look to uniform and zigzaggy which makes that thin center. Any tips would be amazing!
Dear Patrick, I got a tip from 'Sunnylady' once and she adviced me to watch Yovette on YouTube. Her method of painting evergreens has helped me 100%, maybe you can find some inspiration there. Here is the link:

True! Anly three colours in this one yet so rewarding when you get all the mixing right. In the end you have a true beauty!
Your evergeens are very thin in the center, if you like I can give some useful tips/hints about that, just let me know!
