3x3”, oil on canvas. I enjoyed painting with Joyce but messed up early on with the black line and spent most of this one coming back. I did use a liquid white treatment on the canvas instead of her linseed/thinner medium combo. See the time lapse on Instagram at @happylittletreeshhi

I think you did great with this! Have you ever seen any of Joyce’s other works? Wow. Check it out if you haven’t. I took a go at this one today (on a much larger canvas) and I still think yours looks better. You did a good job of capturing that little sunshine spot in the light part of the wave and your foam looks amazing!
