Reflections of Gold

Voy Kay 08 Nov 2020

Painting #10 from season 23. I had an oval left (brand new one so NO bleeders) and came up with this creation some two hours later.

REAL fun to do, playing around with lots of various colours, grass and snowy hills and bumps.

Canvas used was a HQ 12"x16". Hardest part here were the pink clouds which never cooperated with the 1" brush. Also not easy were the tree highlights, it remains one of my weaknesses. Easy parts were the snow handling and the multiple tiny trees and sticks.

Please enjoy this one and till next creation!

PS: My daughter (the better artist in the house) keeps on laughing that I painted an early Easter egg!!

We'll call it precious Faberge egg with tourmaline and peridots in the trees; Sapphire and citrine in the sky!

That's a beautiful scene and beautiful softness!

Thanks Heather.
My Easter egg has poor attention yet is one of my best creations with a snow field!
