Although I don't fancy Steve Ross's paintings, this one gave me quite some satisfaction.
Canvas used was a budget 10"x12". Thoughest was the sky and keeping the shadowside of the mountains distinct from the bright side. All the rest was fun! This is not a difficult painting so you might have a go at this.

Yes Mrs. C, this version gave me quite some pleasure to paint although I'm not really a fan of Steve Ross. He has far less diversity then his father, but I think that is normal.

I am in too for Guinness! I like how nice the distant evergreen trees layers. Very carefully done to show the distance!

Nice water and reflections, the bank and water edge has some lovely depth in your scene. My favourite mountain is the one on the far right :)
