Rowboat on the Beach

This painting was inspired by Bob’s painting, but in painting through the practice paintings it acquired a more local flavour to the reflect cozy little beaches in a shallow bay in our local area. As such, I thought it was worth publishing here as Bob always encourages us to make out paintings part of ‘our world’. This is the 3rd of 3 practice paintings on A3 canvas sheet prior to attending my CRI’s painting class to do Bob’s actual painting. My clouds were painted with a fan brush and ended up darker than intended with bristle dots still evident. They needed to be lightened and smoothed out a bit to improve their appearance. It was an enjoyable little painting.
