Winter Paradise

joha59 24 Jan 2022

Someone was walking on the path and made a real mess of the snow there. Still searching for the right brush for the evergreens, so did the branches not upwards like Bob did. I am still painting on a flat table, to be honest, the countertop in the kitchen and it;s hard to paint pushup strokes when the canvas is in a flat position, that's a real excuse, isn't it? On canvasboard 24 x 30 cm.

Very pretty and nicely done

Beautiful, especially love the mountains, distant evergreens and the pink color.

Hello, I think it's a success. Those mountains, wow !. I love the misty atmosphere. My favorite brush for evergreens is my fan brush. Try hang-me-down trees. Going down instead of up. (season 13)

Thanks Matt, Umagaan and Patrizia, the fan brush is too large for the small canvasses I use mostly, for the distant trees this is no option for me. Good idea to try some hangy down trees.

Super mountains and reflections in this creation Jos!

I paint on an easel from Blokker, een standaard tafelmodelletje dat maximum 50cm hoogte aan kan maar voldoet aan zowat al mijn wensen!

Gorgeous painting! Love the mountains and the colors are beautiful!

Thanks Voy and Sandy! Voy I also have a simple easel for on the table but I still prefer painting with a flat laying canvas, advantage is you can easy turn the canvas around, help f.i. when mountain highligt is on the left.
