Portrait of Winter

Tom0779 14 Feb 2023

Currently I am extremely busy with my job. Just a short break needed to share my latest Bob Ross recreation.
Nice episode to train creating depth and a limited palette makes it fun because only little brush washing is required.
Oils on canvas panel 16 x 20 in. (40 x 50 cm)

Gorgeous Tom!!! This one looks so real! Your evergreens are splendid! Those foreground bushes are so pretty. How did you make them?

A really great scene Tom, viel tiefe , klasse πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Ž

Thank you Nancy, glad you like it. Bushes are made with the 1 inch brush. For me this works makes more realistic bushes as the round brush.

Thanks a lot Dirk, always glad to hear from you!

Das beruht auf Gegenseitigkeit Tom. I did some premixes today , to see how the colour comes out . Let it dry on some newspaper Sites to pull the Oil out . Maybe i can start tomorrow with a new painting

Just gorgeous! Mountains and Trees are perfect! Bushes look great too!

Can’t wait to see your new creations Dirk!

Thanks a lot Sandy!

Beautiful creation Tom!

Thank you Brian!

Wonderful!!! Now that I figured out that 1” brush, I will give it a shot for my bushes on my nest painting.

Thanks Nancy. The 1 inch brush needs much more paint but if you know how to load it correctly and the right amount of pressure then it shouldn't be a problem.

Really nice Tom.

Many thanks Matt!
