After some time, my first painting this year. Between the many metalwork, a small time window has arisen and I decided on one of my favorite paintings by Bob on the one hand the woodgrain effect (CherryWood)was finished and on the other hand to loosen my wrists and fingers., which felt a little stiff.This is the second time I paint it,this time in a changed form and I call it "Flyfishing Version" I thought it would be quite appropriate to integrate a fly fisherman, what really is not easy with this small format.The fisherman is only 0.545 inch , in the height .Really a challenge, freehand.The woodgrain was totaly dry and i used only a little bit liquid clear with sap green / ebony black for the water . As always, totally fresh from 25 minutes ago and I hope you like it.

Another one that I missed! Gosh, what’s wrong with me! 😣 It is absolutely fabulous! I am in love the fisherman. So well done! Funny that Bob did not include the fishing guy tho it’s in the title of his painting. Nonetheless, you have put out some amazing compos lately. This one doe not disappoint at all!
