I enjoyed Paul Ranson's version of this painting as much as I did Audrey's, so I tried to do a blend of both. I discovered in the midst of painting that my liquid black was extremely runny, so it will be a while before I can put a signature on this one. I eventually hope to get to one of the big crashing wave seascapes with the beautiful eye, but for now this one was a little more my speed.. It was fun too!
Thanks so much, Helen! I am working up te courage LOL and looking for a version to follow that is more on the beginner side
For a simple wave I don't think you can go far wrong with Paul Ranson, he's very good with his explanations. After you've done one you can pretty much create your own.
Thank you, Helen! I do like Paul’s videos! I will check out his wave tutorials!
This is very striking
Thanks so much, Rebecca!
So warm and pleasant.
Thank you so much, Bob!
Agree, the tangerine sky makes this one pop. I especially like the sparkle on your ocean. Who needs a big wave?
Thanks Jon! I am eventually gonna scare that big wave out of my brushes at some point LOL!
Stunning colors in this one!
