This recreation is part of my challenge to complete all 13th paintings of a season. Although this was an obligated one, I very much enjoyed painting it. What helped of course was the more expensive canvas that I used to avoid the woes of budget ones. Quality DOES pay off!!
Canvas used was a high quality 10"x12". Not really anything difficult here, easiest were the sky and the water!

It seems that in most paintings there is usually a feature or two that stand out, but in this one, all the elements, from the sky to the water and its reflections and of course the mountains have captured an overall picture where each element compliments the other. Very attractive piece of art.
