The colors black and yellow are hard to blend because black is so much stronger. This painting was not too complicated, I placed the path a little bit to the left, on canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.

Hé thank you Brian, as fas as I can remember I used three colors for the path : dark, lighter and almost white and it worked.

Great painting! Your trees and reflections are great! I also like your attention to details with the rocks in the foreground.
