Teton Winter

Voy Kay 09 Mar 2020

Canvas used was a 12"x16", carefully and crazy prepared with a mosaiec of blue and black acrylics. Sky was fairly easy to do as were the snow and the cabin. The foliage remains an obstacle to me and I'm not really thrilled with the mountains as well. I added a small fence just to draw attention away from less happy painted parts.

Something about the glinting light on the cabin give this painting a special, peaceful mood! Nice work!

Thank you Dracula, it is far from my best work but I hadn't painted in weeks, so was more happy then focused to paint again today! And yes, cabins is one of the things from Bob Ross that I mastered already. I LOVE IT to add different coloring in them! Now the foliage to follow shortly I hope!

Dear Tom, this might be very interesting! Can you send me a link to such brushes? I would appreciate that, thank you!!

Very interesting!
Can you tell me if you use just a corner of it (vertically) or the entire width of the brush (horizontally)? Are you tapping with them or just pointing on the canvas?
I use different waver brushes as well, much to my liking. I have Bob Ross wavers and they are really the best since they are very firm and compact. I have a whole set of Chinese wavers, also reasonable good but less then the Bob Ross wavers.

THANK YOU Tom!! I ordered that set an hour ago from Amazon and will try that out soon. Foliage is my main nemesis and SO MUCH HOPE to get that nailed! Till soon!! Voy
